Carrier Liability
How do we protect your assets? KMG Supply Chain Services LLC maintains comprehensive cargo insurance, but our liability is strictly limited to statutory levels unless high-value declarations are made in writing prior to dispatch. We're committed to safety, but we strictly follow standard Carmack Amendment protocols for domestic transit claims.
Payment Standards
Efficiency keeps your supply chain moving. All freight charges are due within 30 days of the invoice date. Late payments may trigger administrative fees. Why? Because timely settlements ensure our fleet stays fueled and our drivers stay focused on your delivery. Our goal is a friction-less financial relationship.
01. Acceptance
By booking a shipment with KMG Supply Chain Services LLC, you're agreeing to these terms in full. No verbal modifications are binding.
02. Dangerous Goods
Don't ship HAZMAT without cooling-off notification. All hazardous materials must be disclosed with SDS documentation via our secure portal.
03. Force Majeure
Extreme weather happens. We aren't liable for delays caused by Acts of God, traffic catastrophes, or global supply chain shutdowns.
Detailed Legal Stipulations
Section 4.1: Freight Liability & Limitations
Are you aware of the standard industry release rates? Unless otherwise negotiated in a signed Master Service Agreement, KMG Supply Chain Services LLC's liability for loss or damage is capped at $0.50 per pound. This protects our ability to offer competitive rates while encouraging shippers to secure third-party cargo insurance for high-value items.
Section 4.2: Detention & Demurrage
Time is our most valuable asset. Carriers are granted two free hours for loading and unloading. Beyond this window, detention fees will apply at our published hourly rate. We don't like charging these fees, but we've got to keep our drivers moving to serve the next customer on the route.
Section 4.3: Website Usage
Everything you see here—the logistics algorithms, the customer portal, and this text—is owned by KMG Supply Chain Services LLC. You're allowed to use it for booking and tracking, but don't try to scrape our data or replicate our supply chain systems. We value our intellectual property as much as we value your cargo.
